Kevin Hodgson - Sound Technician
Kevin started recording music in the early 1980s, using a variety of 2 and 4 track tape recorders. Many live recordings were made with the Revox B77 and AKG D212s which Kevin still owns.
With the growth in higher quality Digital recording technology, particularly in the late 1990s Kevin progressed through the use of DAT Tape and CD recorders to now use PC based recording technology which he now feels finally matches the sound quality of the best analogue equipment.
Kevin holds a degree in Electronic Engineering, and currently specialises in recording live classical performances in his local area of Hampshire. |
